Does the course come with a workbook?
Yes, it does come with one free workbook per course ordered. If you would like to order an extra workbook for a sibling, you can find extra workbooks on our shop page.
What editing system should I use?
We do not teach a specific editing system in the "Videography & Filmmaking" course. We do, however, expose the students to a variety of different editing systems that they can choose from and learn on YouTube on their own time. Our Video Editing Course goes into depth on what softwares to use and how to use them.
Can this course be done as a group?
Yes and No. We do offer bulk pricing for groups. However, each student is given login credentials and their progress is tracked through the members area. Also, note that based on what grade you've selected, content and jargon in the course is simplified, or left more advanced, based on age of the student. It's less effective teaching to try and share one account across multiple students.
How long does the course login last?
The courses vary in length from 12-18 lessons. Students will receive 18 months to complete a course. If they have not completed their course, they are welcome to ask for an extension of 18 more months...no problem.
When do I get my login information and workbook?
Students will receive their course login the same day as the order is placed. The workbook is mailed out the next day and will arrive within 3-4 days.
What camera should I use?

The Media4Kidz™ courses are designed to cater to all levels and capabilities. As a result, these courses can be completed using anything from a smartphone to a high-end camera. If you wish to invest in premium equipment for your creative endeavors, we've included recommendations for each course below
